Biscom Awarded FIPS 140-2 Certification from the National Institute of Standards and Technology

CHELMSFORD, Mass. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Chelmsford, MA –  Biscom, provider of the legal industry’s most trusted document exchange technology, today announced that it has completed the rigorous FIPS 140-2 testing and has received certification from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

FIPS 140-2 is a U.S. government security standard that accredits cryptographic modules. Working in conjunction with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), the FIPS 140-2 validation program is also recognized in Canada. FIPS 140-2 certification is part of the Biscom Secure File Transfer solution that enterprises use to share confidential and sensitive files and documents.
