Integra Networks Welcomes Four New Hires to their Growing Team

ALBANY, N.Y. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Integra Networks, Inc., the Capital Region’s fastest growing optical equipment manufacturer is pleased to announce and welcome four new hires to our team.

We are pleased to welcome Mike Ciniglia to our Engineering department as our new Network Engineer. Mike works directly with Scott Owens, Engineering and Information Technology Manager, coding fiber optic transceivers and resolving fiber optic networking issues with customers for Integra Networks. Mike holds an Associate’s degree of Computer Science from the State University of New York College of Technology at Alfred State in Alfred, NY. After finishing his education at Alfred, Mike continued his education by gaining a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. After college, Mike started his career in the telecommunications industry by becoming the Data Network Engineer for Frontier Communications, and then moved to the National Data Network Planner position within Frontier Communications. Mike’s many years of knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry is a great addition to the value Integra Networks provides in high quality products to their customers. Mike is a Capital Region local, currently residing in Glenville.

Our second new welcomed employee is Carey Turner, our new Marketing Assistant in the Marketing Department. Carey has teamed up with Sarah Beach, Marketing Director, in expanding the awareness and promotion of Integra Networks, Inc. Carey is responsible for the corporate and customer communication, social media planning, and tradeshow coordination. Carey enters the Marketing industry after graduating in December from Clarkson University with a Bachelors of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Carey has accumulated marketing and business development experience, working for companies such as Infinigy Engineering, a telecommunications company and most recently HoopDog.com, an online basketball community and interface, both based out of Albany, NY. Carey is a Capital Region local, currently residing in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Thirdly, we welcome Joshua Parisi as our new Electronics Technician in the Logistics Department. Josh is working with Scott Peconie, Logistics Manager, and is responsible for the handling of receiving, shipping, and processing of orders. Some of the other roles of his job are delivering the correct parts to the engineering department and also shipping them correctly to the customer, ensuring customer satisfaction. Josh gained an Associate’s degree in Computer and Electrics Engineering Technology at ITT Technical Institute in Norwood, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Integra, Josh was enrolled in the military for 4 years as an Armor Crewman on MI Abrahams. Josh is originally from Cohasset, Massachusetts but currently resides in Schuylerville, New York.

Lastly, we are pleased to welcome Albert “Vinnie” Roman, our new Logistics Coordinator in the Logistics Department. Vinnie has teamed up with Scott Peconie, our Logistics Manager to streamline the  handling of the receiving, shipping and processing of orders. Vinnie also spends time managing and keeping track of the inventory. Vinnie started his education at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, New York. He then obtained his Bachelors of Business Management at the Marine Core Institute in Washington D.C. After college, Albert spent 16 years in the military as an inventory man by trade and a recruiter in Queens, New York.  Albert also volunteers at Toys for Tots, where he manages and coordinates with 14 districts to deliver toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them for Christmas. Albert is originally from Brooklyn, New York.
