Raffingers Stuart to Offer Clients New Cloud-based Accountancy Software

MAIDSTONE, U.K. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Raffingers Stuart, who is featured in the top 100 Accountancy Firms, plans to roll out an online accountancy package to their clients.

The software, Xero, is an online bookkeeping system that stores information on the cloud. The system looks to replace traditional desktop systems such as Sage and QuickBooks, and sees Raffingers as one of its early commercial adopters.

The Software was introduced to the 20-year old firm by Raffingers’ Accounts Senior, Pesach Davidoff. Chartered Certified Accountant Pesach joined the firm in 2007 after graduating with a Bachelors degree in Accountancy and Business Management.

Pesach discovered the software and once he realized its potential presented its advantages to the Raffingers team. After testing and training on the software in-house, Raffingers has made plans to offer it commercially to their clients.

The development of Xero is revolutionary in the field of accountancy. It has already been praised for its aesthetics, which make it simpler and more user-friendly for the end user.

Functioning on a cloud-based system means it can be accessed remotely – all the user will need is their login details. The system encourages collaboration as users can allow their accountants secure access.

Xero connects with the user’s bank account, which makes reconciliations simple and accurate. All of the user’s bank accounts are automatically imported and categorised which allows users to see their cash flow in real time.

The software opens up API (Application Processing Interface), which has seen hundreds of practical and useful apps connected to the software. Using Xero in conjunction with other Apps means that businesses can use add-ons for CRM, inventory, time sheet and job management. The Apps developed for Xero all help to make bookkeeping and payroll as automatic as possible – tasks that in the past had to be done manually now can be done automatically – saving a vast amount of time for the user.

A helpful add-on used by Raffingers is ‘Receipt Bank’ which converts all their clients’ invoices and receipts into Xero data.

The firm plans to launch a full package and supporting service, which will soon be made available to its existing clients. Their strategy involves converting exiting clients who currently use the firm for payroll and bookkeeping to Xero, before rolling it out to other existing clients and eventually targeting new businesses.
