Tuesday, May 7, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., “Webinar: Navigating How-to’s for Online PR”
Description: In today’s digital age, online public relations should be part of any online marketing strategy.  Learn the key differences between traditional and new media and what those differences mean for your PR efforts during this Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) webinar. This webinar will cover: elements of a foolproof pitch for bloggers and reporters; using Twitter to engage reporters; surefire tactics to getting your special events publicized and using Google, LinkedIn and Twitter to identify reporters and influencers in your field.

Wednesday, May 15, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., “Connection Points: Networking with Financial & Legal Professionals”
Description: The Women’s Business Development Center’s Connection Points is a business networking event for women business owners in professional service industries including attorneys, accountants, mediators and financial advisors. This event is designed to provide relevant business information and create opportunities for networking and referrals among professional women in these industries.
