CHANDLER, Ariz. - April 23, 2013 - PRLog -- CHANDLER (AZ)—Brighton Publishing LLC proudly announces the eBook release of “Sabbatical in the Sun,” the fourth novel by prolific author Jackie Ullerich. Dedicated to her calling and utilizing a dynamic talent, Ms. Ullerich unveils her latest novel fueled by enticing power, lust, and insatiable greed. Sabbatical in the Sun is currently available in all eBook formats from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other fine retailers with the print release scheduled for fall-2013, to be distributed by Ingram, the world’s largest book wholesaler.

Recently divorced and reeling from her mother’s loss to cancer, the youthful and beautiful Jessica Slater decides to exchange her life as a Northern Virginia educator for something more enticing—a Sabbatical in the Sun.

A sabbatical is exactly what one makes of it, and for Jessica, assuming a housesitting position at the home of out-of-country business owners, George and Lydia Papas, seems to be a perfect fit.

In time, Jessica begins taking graduate courses at USC where she comes to meet the mysterious and charming John Martin—a university administrator with plans to complete a complex deception.

As her feelings for John continue to grow, Jessica accepts an offer to accompany him to Athens, Greece for spring break. While there, she is introduced to John’s friend, Denis Angelides and his family.

Regrettably, Jessica realizes that she has become the cornerstone of a scheme that goes far deeper than she could ever imagine. Soon, Jessica is used to recover a priceless heirloom of the Angelides family—a treasure that has somehow found its way into the Papas home.

Now, nothing appears to be off limits, but the painful aftermath may be more than any of them can bear.

“Once again, author Jackie Ullerich achieves an ultra-high level of craftsmanship eagerly sought after by suspense, mystery, and romance readers alike,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Similar in feel to Diana Gabaldon’s popular Outsider novels, Sabbatical in the Sun engages readers from start to finish with brilliant prose that summons vivid scenes to life.”

Jackie Ullerich is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in Theater Arts and English. Through the years, Ms. Ullerich has developed a strong readership based on her previously published works, The Bride Stands Alone (http://www.amazon.com/Bride-Stands-Alone-Jackie-Ullerich/...), At Risk (http://www.amazon.com/At-Risk-Passion-Peril-Sea/dp/193658...), and Invitation to Death (http://www.amazon.com/Invitation-to-Death-ebook/dp/B00B3I...).
