ROCHESTER, N.Y. - April 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Counterfeiters rely on the fact that store keepers rely on black lights and pen markers to verify that bills are genuine.Counterfeiters wash the ink off of a 5 dollar bill and print 10,20,50,or 100 bills on the washed paper giving them real paper with a polymer thread and a watermark that will pass the black light test and marker test. The proublem is that when the bills are deposited at the bank, the bank scans the bills with an expensive high grade scanner that detects the bogus bill, at that point the store keeper is out that money.
"My device relies on the fact that when a bill is reproduced the reproduction of the bills artwork has changed. Only my device can detect the changes in the printed images. On a real bill my device shows a very distinct pattern where as on a counterfeit bill the pattern does not appear. This counterfeit money detection device is credit card in size, last a life time, detects bogus bills in seconds, needs no electric or chemical money pens markers to work" - Thomas M.
