Ascensus Adds Three Regional Vice Presidents

DRESHER, Pa. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Ascensus, the nation’s largest independent retirement plan provider, is pleased to announce that it has added three new regional vice presidents to its national sales team. Together, David Crotty, Brian Stubbs, and Erik Whinery bring nearly 45 years of industry experience to the company.  

David Crotty, a 24-year veteran of selling and servicing corporate retirement plans, oversees Ascensus’ Texas region, covering Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Most recently, Crotty was a retirement plan consultant, Vice President Regional Retirement Specialist with Transamerica Retirement Services, and Vice President Retirement Solutions Specialist with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.

Brian Stubbs oversees Ascensus’ partnerships and sales in the East region, covering Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. He has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years, including a variety of roles at Ascensus in Relationship Management, Client Service, and most recently as a Business Development Consultant.

Erik Whinery joined Ascensus from Great-West Financial and has five years of experience in the wholesaling and sale of corporate 401(k) retirement plans. He oversees Ascensus’ Rocky Mountain region covering Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming.
