MINNEAPOLIS, MN – April 22, 2013 – Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), is expanding its strategic alliance with Bahrain-based Global Aviation Services to cover sales and support of filtration solutions for fixed-wing general aviation aircraft and military ground vehicles, as well as helicopters in key Middle Eastern markets.
Under the expanded alliance, in addition to helicopter air filtration solutions, GAS will sell, distribute and support Donaldson’s line of filtration solutions for helicopter liquid and fuel systems. The company’s resources include a bonded-status distribution depot at the Bahrain International Airport Free Zone.
“Our local presence in the Middle East will shorten the supply chain for Donaldson’s customers, and our team of dedicated multilingual, aviation specialists will help those customers benefit from both time and cost savings,” said John Smith, CEO of GAS. “We look forward to working with Donaldson in supporting its customers in the region.”
