Chicago-Band Good Ground Releases New Album "South Wind Northern Songs" on CD, Now Shipping

CHICAGO - April 21, 2013 - PRLog -- "South Wind Northern Songs" was released as a seven song digital album in March, 2013. Initial response to the album was favorable, prompting the band to release an extended version of the album with three additional songs which are available only on the CD. CD's began shipping April 20th, 2013, coinciding with "Record Store Day."

About Good Ground:

Good Ground formed in 2012 when husband and wife duo John and Carla Wills, with long time friend and musical collaborator Zach Thomas, began writing and recording original songs that combined Carla’s love of singer/songwriter folk music with John and Zach’s ten years of writing and performing together in various guitar-driven rock bands. The combination created a unique sound that features vocal tradeoffs between John and Carla, layered acoustic and electric guitar stylings, and tempos ranging from driving and upbeat to slow and melancholy. Good Ground has roots in the Chicago suburbs.
