ORLANDO, Fla. - April 19, 2013 - PRLog -- (Orlando, FL) April 2013- American Textile Recycling Services (ATRS) is geared up to share its textile recycling mission with the Central Florida community at the 8th Annual Central Florida Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th in Leola Park.

Recognized as the longest running and largest Earth Day celebration in Central Florida, Central Florida Earth Day Festival is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees and participants in observance of the 43rd anniversary of National Earth Day. Other festival sponsors and vendors include The Pew Charitable Trust Environmental Initiatives, University of Central Florida Habitat for Humanity, and the Earth Day Network.

We are proud to be part of the City of Orlando green business community,” says Rob Stevenson, ATRS Florida Operations Manager.  “By placing textile recyclers at easy, convenient locations throughout the city, we support Mayor Dyer’s Green Works Orlando initiative to reduce municipal waste, lower landfill costs for residents, while supporting Central Florida’s worthy charities with every pound we collect.”

ATRS is the fastest growing textile recycler in the U.S. Its socially responsible business model provides free textile recycling solutions for the public, job stimulation for local communities and abroad and much-needed funding for worthy local charities.
