Late Wednesday night another tragedy struck. In the small community of West, Texas a fertilizer plant had a massive explosion. The explosion registered as 2.1 magnitude quake according the USGS. Residents about 30 miles away in the town of Buffford told ABC News that they felt the quake. “Another horrific explosion took place,” states Ricky Sinclair. “I am sending my deepest regards and prayer up to the whole community of West. I grieve for those who have lost loved ones and those that have been injured.”

With another tragedy that is affecting the lives of many, everyone needs to know that their life is right with God. Matthew 25:13 states, “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.” We will not know the hour or day of the return of Jesus. We also do not know the hour or day of our death which will then reunite the believers with Jesus.

We cannot take life for granted. With all the evil in the world and tragedies taking place, we have to know that when we die will be in heaven. We cannot take what is going on around us and let it keep you in despair, instead remain with hope. "I have heard that many are concerned about the state of affairs in our world right now. I ask you to please not let your spirit dry up by grief over these difficult times. Especially do not lose hope. One of the most important steps you can take to help calm the storm is to not allow yourself to be overwhelmed with emotion or despair. Focus on prayer, we were made for these times,” says Bishop Ricky Sinclair.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott told reporters in a news conference Thursday night that the impact of the explosion was worse than he expected. "The devastation is immense," he said. But, he added the other thing he saw while touring West was "the sign of hope" and "the beginnings of a community trying to piece itself back together."
