Lori Diamond and Fred Abatelli release duo CD "True" to rave reviews

LOS ANGELES - April 25, 2013 - PRLog -- For Lori Diamond and Fred Abatelli, it began in 2007 when social networks such as Myspace Music was the gathering place of that time.  It was a great place for musicians to post their music and network with other musicians.  Fred and Lori were both in other bands along with being support players for many years in other successful local bands.  After some exchanges on the computer, Fred showed up at one of Lori’s shows and demonstrated his intricate bluesy, jazz-infused riffs.  It was something to behold.  That was the beginning of a beautiful musical relationship.  They both had their own talents, wisdom and life experience to bring to the table and with that emerged some of the greatest adult contemporary songs on the airwaves to date.  

In 2009 Lori and Fred released their debut duo CD titled “Mystery” where their sound and structure were still in the evolutionary stage.  It has a bit more of a singer/songwriter vibe to it.  In 2011 they released their second project “True” which became a hit right from launch. Audiences quickly notice the growth and balance in their songwriting, arrangements, maturity and a clearer path to their ultimate goal(s).

The lead single “Never to Late” became an instant hit.  As are many of their songs, this one is largely about self-acceptance.  It is never too late for growth, to change your path in a positive way even if you believe initially you don’t deserve it.  As the lyrics of this song state “One thing to consider is that the joy is in the giving and you can do yourself some living from exactly where you are, you’ll attract someone who sees you for your goodness…….”  This song has a wonderful quality to it.  The Piano and vocals is a match made in heaven singing the message about never being too late for love.  The harmonies are smooth as the story unfolds and the message is heard loud and clear. It has very catchy verses that you can’t seem to get out of your mind.  

“True” is filled with wonderful adult contemporary songs that touch your heart, and make you think. Whether the storyline deals with a broken relationship or a wonderful one, the message is always of hope, love and contentment all delivered in some of the best melodies to date.  They have created the music to accompany all of us on this personal journey.
