RAW Washington D.C. presents “MARVEL” www.rawartists.org/washingtondc/marvel

WASHINGTON - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- RAW Washington D.C. hosts another in a series of showcases in D.C. with a night of music, art, fashion, and dance at PENN SOCIAL in its second event of the 2013 Season – Sunday, April 28th 2013.

RAW:natural born artists is a nationwide organization for artists, by artists, that hosts eclectic monthly art showcases in more than 60 major cities across the country, and growing.  RAW came to D.C. in 2012 and is happy to be a thriving resource to the D.C. metropolitan art community more than 1 year later.  

RAW’s mission as an organization is to provide a platform for local independent and emerging artists in all genres, to network and connect with one another, gain more exposure, and find a new audience.

Entertainment to include live music by Flo Anito, Reesa Renee, Panda Sanchez, DMecca and Emy & Ethan, as well as live performances and film feature by DC Casineros, Christine Walters, Chef Egg, and Troy Minter.  

We also will have a fashion show featuring designs by Jarmal Harris, Andrew Nowell, sPACYcLOUd, and Peerless Paragon.  Hair & Make up features by Majic Aubert, and Tina B & Shug W.

Pop-Up Art Galleries and Photography will be featuring Dorjeanaetay, Meaghan Kearon, George Daou, Anike Robinson, Sonia Grace Thangavelu, Eric Bushee, Vera Gridasova Abstract Art, Diggs, Dopamine Clinic, Troy Minter, Foxxfara, DEZ, , Dave Matthews, NoSkinPolicy, Glenn Clevenger III, Chris Jay, Brian Landis, and Dancing Squirrel Photography.  

Pop-Up Boutiques will be featuring fashion accessory designers Carmen Eliam, Deborah Mdurvwa, Peerless Paragon, and MOOii.

Advanced tickets are $15 and can be purchased through an artist to support their place in the show at www.rawartists.org/washingtondc/marvel. Tickets go up to $20 at the door.  Doors for the 21+ event open at 6:30 pm for Press and guests are encouraged to dress in fashionable attire.
