Troop Real Estate Welcomes Back Patti Hepple as New Director of Dispute Resolution

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- SIMI VALLEY, CA – Ventura County’s largest independent brokerage, Troop Real Estate, announced that Patti Hepple has rejoined the company in a new role, as the Director of Dispute Resolution.

Hepple’s illustrious career in real estate features countless accomplishments and awards. With over 36 years of experience in the local real estate market, Hepple’s in-depth knowledge stems from her ongoing commitment to improving her trade. “I had a manager who had an incredible impact on my life. Early on, he explained to me that we belong to a very large trade organization that requires active participation. If I didn’t like a direction, he told me, I would have no one to blame except myself,” she said.

This philosophy is one that Hepple has taken to heart. In addition to the many committees and advisory boards she’s served on, Hepple was the 2008 President of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors. She was recognized by the Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors as Realtor of the Year, as well as being honored by past Association Presidents as the 2010 recipient of the Presidents Choice award.

In 2006, Hepple received her certification in Mediation from the Institute for Conflict Management and promptly applied her knowledge to her role as a State Director for California Association of Realtors (CAR), from 2007-2010. She also has served on CAR’s Forms Advisory Committee, Risk Management Committee and Professional Standards Committee.

In addition to representing her clients’ real estate needs, Hepple will apply her education in Mediation and Negotiation theories to her new position as Troop Real Estate’s Director of Dispute Resolution. “I’ve always taken contracts very, very seriously. They are such an important part of the process. But there are conflicts; it is a natural part of life. So, I decided to become a Certified Mediator and put into practice techniques for resolution on a daily basis,” Hepple said.
