ATLANTA - April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA) 2013 Short Film Showcase is just days away...which means that the films that will be highlighted in this year's showcase have been selected. In support of WIFTA's mission to support the work of women in the entertainment industry, all of the selected films showcase a woman's significant participation in the film--as an actress, director, producer, writer or director of photography, for example.

This year, there was an array of entries from filmmakers throughout the Southeast and some entries from filmmakers from other nations. All of the submissions were wonderful works but, as is always the case, only a select few of the entries can be showcased in the one evening. The films that will be showcased this year are:

A Latte Love Story
OMG
Sweet, Sweet Country
Visualize Something beautiful
Ring of Music
Checkmate
The Brazilian
Prognosis
Pepper

The award-winning films will be announced the evening of the screening.

The 2013 WIFTA Short Film Showcase, which will be hosted by director, writer, producer and V-103 radio personality Princess Monique, will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013.
