Follow on Google News | WIFTA Announces 2013 Short Film Showcase LineupWIFTA will screen nine films during its 2013 Short Film Showcase. The films are: "A Latte Love Story," "OMG," "Sweet, Sweet Country," "Visualize Something Beautiful," "Ring of Music," "Checkmate," "The Brazilian," "Prognosis" and "Pepper."
By: Women in Film & Television Atlanta This year, there was an array of entries from filmmakers throughout the Southeast and some entries from filmmakers from other nations. All of the submissions were wonderful works but, as is always the case, only a select few of the entries can be showcased in the one evening. The films that will be showcased this year are: A Latte Love Story OMG Sweet, Sweet Country Visualize Something beautiful Ring of Music Checkmate The Brazilian Prognosis Pepper The award-winning films will be announced the evening of the screening. The 2013 WIFTA Short Film Showcase, which will be hosted by director, writer, producer and V-103 radio personality Princess Monique, will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013. WIFTA will host the pre-screening reception from 5:30p - 6:30p at Apres Diem. The screening will begin immediately following the reception at Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema. The venues are located side-by-side at 931 Monroe Dr. Atlanta, GA 30318. WIFTA members can enjoy this night out at the movies for $10.00; for non-members, tickets are just $12.00.
