Follow on Google News | Now in Print & eBook "How To Be A Successful Travel Nurse" by Donna DaughertyPublisher PWPMall announced the paperback and eBook release of the book "How To Be A Successful Travel Nurse" from author Donna Daugherty.
By: PWPMall I told quite a few staff nurses which one of them was the most talked about person in the hospital, from my general observations as those new fresh eyes that HR talks about. I was surprised that none asked me who was the second or even the third most talked about. Why do you care? This book is to help you to NOT become #1, #2 or #3 in that list or worse ... to even lose your contract. I've informally polled lot's of nurses and will use their quotes anonymously or unanonymously (as they chose) throughout this book. Filled with humor, satire, serious comments, do's and don't (YOU know how nurses are), unit rules (that aren't listed in the policy and procedures that no one seems to read anyway), negatives, positives, and overall general things they wished that you knew before you showed up in their unit to work for 4, 8, 13 weeks or heavens forbid ... took a permanent position. 2013 begins my second year of self-publishing. Had I only known years ago about digital publishing or that I could self-publish a paper back and sell it on Amazon. I took my time and spent seven years writing my first book, “On The Sine”. I had done my research and figured I was an unknown, therefore would never be published. I never dreamed that I would be able to afford self-publishing and that it would be so easy. Then I happened upon Kindle Direct Publishing. Between digital and paperback, I now have 17 titles out, plus many individual poems for Kindle. I've recently launched a new series, Travel Nurse Series. Partnering with Createspace for book creation services gives me the ability to reach a different audience than the KDP. Great choices for the paperback and digital reader. I'm enjoying the freedom of writing the short stories that I have loved for so many years, and being able to quickly get them out to the public. Even more, the feeling of knowing that what I write has a 100% chance of being published. Donna Daugherty is an American born freelance writer and graphics designer. She enjoys working as an ICU critical care nurse. Walking on the beach with her husband and talking about the characters in her books is a favorite hobby. She's been a writer most of her life, from poems to songs to short stories. A favorite day dream is writing a biography that includes the statement, "Her latest book has won the Pulitzer Prize". Genres: Fiction, Children's Stories and Songs, All Occasion Poems, Nurse Hazel Cartoons, Fish & Shrimp Cartoons, Christian Books and Songs.
