Follow on Google News | Agency celebrates 11 years with new online presence honoring advocacy works of its clientsBy: Fulcrum Creatives WITH NEW ONLINE PRESENCE Website honors advocacy work of its clients COLUMBUS, OHIO April 17, 2013 – Fulcrum Creatives, a Columbus, Ohio-based branding and design agency, is celebrating its eleventh anniversary with a new web presence highlighting work done for not-for-profit and socially conscious organizations. These groups that serve the common good have been the focus of the agency since it started as one of the first of its kind in Ohio. In 2002, it was revolutionary (and risky) for a creative agency to limit its work to a single category, especially one as thrifty as this. After all, not-for profits try to not spend money on things other than their core function, and are usually transparent about their frugality. And the for-profit companies with a stated conscience are foregoing some portion of that profit to make a difference. “On paper, this may not have seemed like a solid business plan,” said co-founder Jason Moore. “But we persevered, because we believe that solid branding and messaging about an organization’ Now, eleven years later, Fulcrum is pleased to celebrate the success of their clients – a group of forward-thinking people who are proud of their individual missions and what they’re doing to move them forward. The new website (www.fulcrumcreatives.com) is a reflection of changing strategy for socially conscious organizations – one that recognizes the importance of the right kind of expertise in their branding and communication. Fulcrum is also humbled that its own similar efforts to serve the branding industry are succeeding. The payoff of helping those with a belief spread the word about their difference-making, may be the sweetest, most appropriate way to mark this anniversary. # About the principals: Jason Moore is an accomplished fine arts photographer, President of ROY G BIV, a not-for-profit gallery for emerging artists, and one of Business First Columbus’ Forty Under Forty in 2012. Since receiving his BFA in Advertising/ Liz Samuelson has worked as a Photography Assistant, a Graphic Designer, an agency Creative Director as well as having launched and operated her own boutique branding, web and print design studio. She graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography. Liz is currently a board member of the Columbus Architecture Foundation’s Center for Architecture and Design, and is pursuing an LEED Green Associate accreditation to further her knowledge of sustainable building and design. Liz is an avid Community Gardener and as a Cycling advocate, has pedaled her way to numerous volunteer opportunities for environmental and arts causes.
