Hash tag #Tawasal launched during Elia Nuqul Foundation’s social media event

April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- In an interactive session, Elia Nuqul Foundation’s team and scholars engaged in a discussion on the latest Social Media trends guided by experts in this field. The social media event was held at Nuqul Group’s Head Office and was attended by more than 35participants, whoexplored the added value of active social media engagementleading to an improved communication among scholars.

Guided by the social media expert, the Founder and CEO of Nakhweh initiative, Kamel Al Asmar, the full day event discussed interesting topics such as self-expression, specific social skills and etiquette, important research and findings, digital competency among users, and educational and career development enhancing personal skills.

ENF’s Director, Randi Abdin commented: “Our purpose today is to highlight the opportunities that social media offers as a learning platform for our youth. During the event, a hash tag was created (#Tawasal) and it would be quite interesting to see ENF scholars’ engagement on the virtual community platform where they will be connecting, communicating and clicking”

Social Media is an excellent platform for ENF scholars to become ambassadors representing the foundation through their strong voices and opinions. As Social Media is becoming one of the prime communication tools in our current time, ENF will continue to offer its scholars the right opportunities that will widen their horizons and increase their interactivitywith the world.
