Silentwind wind generators conquer new markets in Europe and Latin America

The Portuguese small wind turbines, known all over the world for its blue blades, continue to reach new geographies. Consolidation in the European market took another step with a distribution agreement with a major player in the Austrian nautical sector. Furthermore, growth in markets such as France and Germany continues, where sales have grown substantially.

In Latin America, the first distributor was achieved on the continent, in Uruguay, which is expected to be a springboard for neighboring countries. According to the company manager, Joachim Lindner, "these new distribution agreements will allow the company to grow consistently in the markets and will help the Silentwind brand awareness, our goal is to make it a global brand."

The company expects to achieve an increase in turnover of around 20% in 2013. The business area of the turbines is expected to grow 50%.
