Oliver Wolcott Library Art Gallery- Along the Line- Paintings by Jennifer Sabella

LITCHFIELD, Conn. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Jennifer Sabella’s paintings in “Along the Line” focus on line and color.  Her vibrant energetic works are comprised of colorful lines that appear precise, but on close inspection, one sees that the lines break and meet one another.  Each richly colored piece pulsates with energy.  The overall effect is best seen from afar yet the process draws the viewer in with the need to study the paintings in greater detail.

As the daughter of Broadway dancer and actress Bambi Linn, Jennifer Sabella grew up surrounded by art, artists, theater and actors.  She absorbed all that creativity and eventually, as an adult, sifted through her life of observation, creating her own artistic vision, experimenting with color, texture, techniques, mediums, and the use of canvas, metals and other materials for constructing.

Jennifer’s work is in private collections around the world.  She is represented in Connecticut by Troy Fine Arts, located in Southport.  She is currently working on a 14-foot Flypaper commission for a five-star hotel in Boston.  She has lived in Litchfield for the past 10 years.  Her website is www.jennifersabella.com.
