AFP FL, INDIAN RIVER PRESENTS
FUNDAMENTALS OF FUNDRAISING 2-DAY COURSE


Vero Beach, FL – The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Indian River Chapter is offering a 2-day course on the Fundamentals of Fundraising on May 16th and 17th at Northern Trust, 755 Beachland Blvd., Vero Beach.

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising course was designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day. The 16-hour program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable. The course offers a complete overview of current information and techniques and was created for individuals with 0-4 years of fundraising experience; those seeking to enter the development profession; volunteers or board members engaged in fundraising activities; and/or Executive Directors of nonprofit organizations.  

The modules offered during the 2-day course include:  

An Overview of Fundraising, presented by Murray Fournie, CFRE, Foundation President, Jupiter Medical Center
Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program, presented by Steve Higgins, CFRE, Vice President, Bob Carter Companies
Marketing for Ongoing Success, presented by Robin Hicks-Conners, CFRE, Principle, RHC Consultants
Building and Sustaining Relationships, presented by Kerry Bartlett, CFRE, Executive Director, Indian River Community Foundation
Securing the Gift, presented by Murray Fournie, CFRE, Foundation President, Jupiter Medical Center
Volunteers Partnering in Fundraising, presented by Jan Donlan, President, Indian River Medical Center Foundation
Management and Accountability, presented by Peggy Gibbs, CFRE, Development Manager, Indian River Habitat for Humanity

The cost for the 2-day course is $370 for AFP members and $470 for Non-Members.  Or, $50 for AFP members who complete an AFPIR Chapter Scholarship Application.  Additionally, two modules are being offered May 17th for only $50 to Board members of AFPIR attendees. These special modules include Securing the Gift and Volunteers Partnering in Fundraising offered between 8:00 and 11:45 am.
