April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- A former London Business School student returned to the classroom recently to talk about her experience of setting up her own business.

Brynne Herbert graduated with an MBA in 2012 and paid tribute to the School for equipping her with the skills, experience and nous required for operating a highly-successful project.

She is the founder and CEO of MOVE Guides, a groundbreaking company which takes care of every aspect involved in moving abroad - including price comparison and booking services for the shipping of furniture and other possessions; the opening of bank accounts and the search for accommodation.

Just a year after writing her own business plan for the School's Managing Growing Business (MGB) course, Ms Herbert returned to the classroom at the request of adjunct associate professor Rupert Merson to speak to his latest charges about her experiences in starting up and running a company.

Ms Herbert is just one of a number of students who have gone from attending business courses to writing their very own business plan and she paid tribute to the School for handing her the skills to succeed in business.

She said: "The global student body and great entrepreneurship faculty and courses (like MGB!) helped me refine the business model and successfully raise funding. I am very grateful for the support from LBS."

The School's business courses examine the different ways to build and scale a business during its various growth stages. Those enrolled on the course learn by examining a list of case studies of successful business, of which MOVE Guides now belongs to.

Ms Herbert paid tribute to the School's contribution in helping to make her business a successful one. She said: "We launched our first product with support from London Business School's admissions team to help students move to London.
