Mando Group Transforms Merseyrail Website

LIVERPOOL, U.K. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Mando Group came up against some stiff opposition when tendering for this opportunity and so were delighted to be selected by the regional rail operators for Liverpool and Merseyside, Merseyrail to develop their new site. The merseyrail network is one of the most intensively used networks in the UK, running 800 trains a day, serving over 100,000 passengers along 75 miles across 66 stations.

They came to Mando wanting a complete website redesign which would look great, be easy to use across numerous devices and to meet the high expectations of all of their customers, many of whom use it on a daily basis.

After understanding the client’s needs through stakeholder workshops and working closely with 3rd parties National Rail and Nexus Alpha, Mando have provided a fantastic looking site on a greatly improved content management system. The new site is responsive, resizing the navigation to optimise the user experience across mobile and tablet devices. It includes a journey planner which feeds up-to-date travel information directly from national rail enquiry services and an ‘at-a-glance’ service status report displaying real time service updates.
