OMA Emirates commences in-premise managed services for centralized card issuance

The new service includes the supply and maintenance of cards, personalization system, manpower and ongoing developments with no ownership costs that will have a positive impact on cost efficiency and smoother card production for banks.  

OMA Emirates’ team of in-premise specialists will support daily operations as well as guide the banks towards planning for future requirements. Complying with strict EMV security and design standards, the new service is tailor-made to enable banks to have full control of the card issuance operations. This also addresses the need for the enormous requirements of personalized card supply for multiple branches of the banks through the centralized card issuance system.

Developed in-house, the company’s NANOPERSO personalization solution which supports batch printing and encoding will optimize the bank’s card production process. Simultaneously the new system enables card embossing, indenting, encoding labels, card mailing and smart chips for both contact and contactless cards.
