Holt Brothers Set Date for Annual Football Camp – Expand Age Divisions

RALEIGH, N.C. - April 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Holt Brothers Football, founded by NFL brothers Torry and Terrence Holt to pass on to younger generations the knowledge and approach it takes to be successful on the field and off, has announced the date of their annual Triangle football camp. This year, youth from grades 1st through 12th are invited to attend camp on Saturday, July 13 at WRAL Soccer Center in Raleigh. The Holt Brothers Football Camp will teach participants about sportsmanship and teamwork, while also providing them tips from NFL greats as well as local high school and college coaches.

“We take great pride in educating the next generation of players with not only NFL level drills to sharpen their game, but also in showing them how to be a leader in the classroom and the community,” said Torry Holt. “Life is about so much more than football and we want them to understand that balance.”

Using a station-based training format, campers are divided by age and experience so that each receives the proper level of instruction and support. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. for kids from 1st to 8th grade and will focus on comprehensive skills while providing the campers with an appreciation for football at all skill positions.  Beginning at 2 p.m. rising 9th to 12th grade players will focus on preparation for the upcoming season through professional-level simulations and skill-specific instruction. This high-intensity camp is ideal for Defensive Backs, Linebackers, Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Wide Receivers.

“We have developed this camp to be both fun and challenging for all age groups,” said Terrence Holt.  “Our goal is to provide campers with examples of what it takes to be successful and how hard work, sportsmanship and positive attitudes will set the foundation for future success.”
