Orolia launches new business unit dedicated to delivering integrated solutions to global maritime

SOUTH PETHERTON, U.K. - April 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Les Ulis, April 12th 2013 – Orolia (NYSE Alternext Paris – FR0010501015 – ALORO), a global specialist in critical GPS applications, today announced the launch of McMurdo Marine Solutions, a new business unit dedicated to integrated solutions for the maritime industry focused on safety, compliance and operational efficiencies.  

Building upon the momentum seen in 2012 by McMurdo Marine Systems for Aids to Navigation products (AtoNs), vessel monitoring, fleet management and safety products, and with the acquisition of U.S.-based Boatracs, Inc. in July of 2012, the newly created business unit is now offering a range of business-to-business software solutions and services to global maritime markets.

These new solutions and services will be promoted by the recently formed McMurdo Marine Solutions team with staff based near Lorient (France) and in San Diego, California.
