The 2014 Dodge Durango Debuts at the 2013 New York Auto Show

Grove Dodge currently offers the 2013 Dodge Durango and will look to offer the 2014 Dodge Durango upon its upcoming Canadian release date.

Although not all features have confirmed availability in Canada, the 2014 Durango arrived at the 2013 New York Auto Show sporting new interior technologies, a new transmission option, some styling enhancements, and offered a new level of trim to the Durango family of models. A new Limited spec trim level joins the Durango’s SXT, Rallye, R/T, and Citadel trim levels for 2014. The Limited offers leather seating, heated front seats and steering wheel, and 18-inch wheels.

The exterior for the 2014 Durango sports a new floating crosshair grille on the front fascia as well as new headlights and fog lamps with LED accents. The rear now features Dodge’s signature full-width LED taillights and higher trim levels receive LED running-light strips. The finishing touch for the Durango is the seven new 18 and 20-inch wheel designs that match the newly updated sheetmetal.

Inside the Durango one will find an updated interior featuring a standard 5-inch Uconnect touchscreen or an optional 8.4-inch unit as well as a new digital gauge cluster, a new three-spoke steering wheel with standard paddle shifters, and an available Blu-Ray/DVD entertainment system.

Under the hood a 3.5L Pentastar V6 or a 5.7L Hemi V8 powers the 2014 Durango, offering 290 or 360 hp. The Durango also welcomes an eight-speed automatic transmission equipped with a new Eco mode that looks to offer a 9% increase in fuel economy, but official estimates have yet to be released. Towing capacities for the Durango have been released however, offering 6200 lbs. for the V6, 7400 lbs. for the RWD V8, and 7200 lbs for the AWD V8.
