Music Event Raises Funds to Pay Kirkland Man’s Hospital Bills

TACOMA, Wash. - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- On Sunday, April 28th entertainment firm BNW Global will be hosting  the “Be Brave Music Event,” a fundraiser to aid Chad Harkcom at Barboza Lounge in Seattle (925 E Pike St Seattle, WA 98122) featuring live music and raffle giveaways throughout the evening.

In mid-December 2012, the overall healthy 35-year-old drove himself to the hospital for stomach pains. He was subsequently put into a medically induced coma due to pain and organ failure and survived on life support for over a month undergoing tests as doctors tried to find a diagnosis. On January 24th, 2013 he was brought out of his coma.  The Kirkland, WA native is currently undergoing physical rehab to get back to full health and back to work from his bout with Pancretitis due to high triglyceride levels, a previously unknown hereditary condition. BNW Global is hosting the “Be Brave Music Event” to help Chad and his wife, Helen, with hospital bills that accrued during his round the clock care and rehab from December 2012 to February 2013 and will donate ticket proceeds to the couple.

Being a music/entertainment firm that specializes in community outreach, BNW Global is looking forward to producing this event for Chad and Helen’s friends and supporters that includes the healing power of music at the cool and sophisticated Barboza Lounge in Seattle. The “Be Brave Music Event” will feature a lineup of wonderful local talent including The Busted Down, Kaffeine, and national headlining act, Shyan Selah & The Republic of Sound. Selah who is no stranger to cause-related music and events will be performing his highly anticipated single “Pink Butterfly,” which is dedicated to Breast Cancer Survivors and will be released worldwide this year.

BNW Global is currently accepting sponsored items from local businesses including spas, restaurants, boutiques and hotels in the Puget Sound region to be included in a raffle give-away as additional support for the fundraiser. Doors for the “Be Brave Music Event” will open at 7pm. The show will be from 8pm to 10pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and can be purchased online at www.etix.com or in person at Moe Bar. The show is 21+.
