Imbesi Christensen Attorney Brittany Weiner Wins Hearing for Firm's Client Against JP Morgan Chase

NEW YORK - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Attorney Brittany Weiner, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully represented a former employee JP Morgan Chase Bank NA ("Chase").  

Chase notified the Department of Labor that the former employee was discharged for misconduct and should not be entitled to unemployment insurance benefits. The Honorable Andrea Addison issued an award, in favor of the firm's client, after an in-person hearing was conducted.  The decision affirmed a determination by the Department of Labor that the employee's actions regarding a financial transaction did not constitute misconduct.  Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The initial determination, holding the claimant eligible to receive benefits effective December 3, 2012, is sustained.   The claimant is allowed benefits with respect to the issues decided herein.
