By: Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is a regional organization, and has strong partnerships with the local chambers in its footprint such as Lacey Chamber of Commerce, Barnegat Chamber Of Commerce as well as formed close bonds with chambers from key visitors areas like Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Sussex County Chamber of Commerce. It looks forward to another partner to help advance tourism and business growth. "The need for additional advertising and travel show support is evident after Sandy” says Lori Pepenella Destination Marketing Director of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and LBI Region Destination Marketing Organization. "Marketing costs more money than ever and the funds recieved from grants certainly cannot support the amount of recovery marketing needed, timing is great to introduce another resource which will raise funds to answer the growing demand to launch full out of area campaigns to bring people to Long Beach Island."
