TOLEDO, Ohio - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Granting Access to Math & Science (GRAMS) scholarship announced earlier this month that Shermaine L. Hutchins has been awarded a $10,000 renewable academic achievement scholarship.

The Granting Access to Math & Science (GRAMS) scholarship supports unmet financial needs to a maximum of $10,000/annum. Like many national scholarships, the Granting Access to Math & Science (GRAMS) scholarship is highly selective. Thousands of students nationwide applied for the scholarship. Less than 5 students were awarded the scholarship this year.

Hutchins, a biochemistry/pre-med major with a math minor, is a military veteran and an active volunteer at Promedica St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, OH. For his superior academic achievement, Shermaine L. Hutchins has been recently been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an international Academic Honor Society.
