Tranzit, an operator of the Integrated System for Public Transit of Bogotá(SITP) joins GOAL SYSTEMS

BOGOTA, Colombia - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- FEBRUARY 2013 — Bogotá, COLOMBIA. Tranzit chose GoalBus® and GoalDriver® products as corporate tools for their 750 buses planning and optimization, and for the rostering of drivers to operate the SITP. GOAL SYSTEMS products ensure rapid deployment and seamless integration with fleet, collection and schedule management systems that are already deployed to the 14,000 SITP and Transmilenio buses, with SIRCI system (Integrated system for collection, control, user service and information).

Tranzit is one of the nine companies selected to operate under the model of the Integrated Public Transport System (SITP) of Bogotá, at the operating point zone 13 (USME), formed by the towns of Rafael Uribe Uribe, Usme, Sumapaz and Antonio Nariño.

With this choice, Tranzit is positioned along with Consortium Express, who has already begun with GOAL schedules and other operators that will be incorporated soon, as one of the most technology advanced and better prepared companies to handle the large volumes of resources, buses and drivers that the SITP will deploy in the coming months. In acquiring the SITP operator version of GoalBus®, Tranzit will have the latest product updates designed to increase performance and provide specific functionalities to Bogotá SITP. Also, the seamless integration with the SAE of SIRCI on both input and output ensures strict compliance with SITP operating standards and minimal effort in the transfer of information between the two systems. Both logical shifts and the assignment of drivers are perfectly integrated with the SAE of SIRCI and incorporate their strict standards of operation.
