Follow on Google News | Award Winning Latino Action Film Director Art Camacho to be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame.Martial arts action film director Art Camacho to be inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame Saturday June 22, 2013 for his Outstanding Contributions to the Martial Arts.
By: Kamatoy Media Group Art Camacho began his martial arts training in Karate and Kung Fu. Art received his black belt under Grandmaster Eric Lee; Art also trained in other martial arts styles including Kung Fu San Soo, and Jeet Kune Do. He began his professional career as an actor and performing fight action sequences in several martial arts action films. Art exceled as an action movie actor and later got the opportunity choreograph fight action in films where he has distinguished himself as one of the top action choreographers in films today. Art continues to excel in the movie industry with over 50 films and television shows to his credit. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the most recognizable martial arts talents on the Big Screen including Don “The Dragon” Wilson, Steven Seagal, Cynthia Rothrock, Benny Urquidez, Michael Dudikoff, and Gary Daniels to mention a few. “I am honored that Art Camacho has agreed to attend the Masters Hall of Fame again this year, most people do not know Art grew up in a rough part of South East Los Angeles. Art used his love of Martial Arts to escape the gang life.
