Kids Activities on Earth Day - April 20

ESTES PARK, Colo. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Come celebrate Earth Day at Rocky Mountain National Park.    Earth Day is a way the world can unite around the importance of environmental service and awareness.

A special Earth Day event will be held Saturday, April 20, at the Fall River Visitor Center from 10am to 2:30 pm for families.  There will be an Earth Day Scavenger Hunt for Jr. Rangers, and an Arts & Crafts station to create Earth Day artwork and park staff and scientists will be on hand to share information.

10am - 1pm  Family Discovery Day Program
10:30am - 12pm  Trash Pick-up Project (get Free Park Entrance for the day!)  Equipment provided.

11am & 2 pm  Life on the Edge Program
1pm - 4pm  Park Greenhouse Tours
1:30pm  Story Time with a Ranger
