Secrets of a Kept Woman Returns to the Historic Liberty Theater

Presenting a Powerful Depiction of Friendship, Love, and True to Life Relationships

COLUMBUS, Ga. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- COLUMBUS, GA –  Sharing with readers her intimate journey of creative expression, Shani Greene-Dowdell, founder of Nayberry Publications, announces today that she will go back to Columbus, GA with an adaption of her sophomore novel, Secrets of a Kept Woman (http://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Kept-Woman-Volume-ebook/dp/B003V8BHDW/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1343148626&sr=1-1&keywords=shani+greene+dowdell). A one-day only performance will be held at the Historic Liberty Theater, 821 8th Street, Columbus, GA on April 20, 2013 at 7 p.m. EST.

While Secrets of a Kept Woman is unsettling at times, comedic  at others, and very dramatically performed, it shows in a lighthearted way that life is full of laugh-out-loud moments, nourishment for the soul, and most importantly, opportunities to heal. As theatergoers become acquainted with Shayla, Gladys, and Rhonda, they will uncover how three women who are best of friends really do not know each other at all. “It is my hope that the play will help women take a hard look at their relationships and unveil past and present hurts," says Shani Greene-Dowdell.

"Secrets of a Kept Woman explores what happens when the lines between friendship and betrayal are crossed, and what consequences befall the parties involved,” wrote Naiomi Shuemate of Shue Fit and Conditioning.  This stage play, while full of hilarious moments, touches issues that women go through. It will be hard not to talk out loud as you watch three women take their first steps to being virtuous and free.

THE DRAMATIC STAGE PLAY STARS Tralice Ware, Kim Patrick, Keke Walker, Min. Dr. Nettie Echols, Willie Lewis, Tron Heard, Doricho Payne, Keon McIntosh, Latoya Hayes, and featuring Johnny Taylor of Columbus, GA.
