AEGON ARC training films inspired by British sitcoms

April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- International provider of pensions and life insurance, AEGON UK has commissioned seven short films with scenes heavily influenced by British situation comedies to help employers get to grips with its workplace savings platform AEGON Retirement Choices (ARC).
AEGON worked with creative communications agency Clear Island to concept, write and produce the films which are inspired by TV comedies The Office, Twenty Twelve and Peep Show. The films (https://my.aegon.co.uk/Employer/About-ARC/Employervideos/index.htm) are titled: Scheme set up, Scheme management, Introduction to ARC, Topping up, Opening a new product, Managing your investments, and Gating – opening up your options.

ARC gives employers and employees much greater flexibility to manage retirement savings and we wanted a light hearted and engaging way to show off the platform's capabilities.”

ARC has been developed by established platform provider Novia and is designed to help customers get more from their retirement savings. ARC allows employers, along with scheme advisers, to set up and manage a range of employee benefits online, in one centralised platform. This enables employers to offer more than traditional pension arrangements to employees, such as the ability to set up an ISA funded through payroll.

Employees are given their own online account which allows them to see the value of their savings, manage their investments, improve their financial planning, choose product wrappers and access a range of investments.

The broadcast quality films were produced using some of the latest technology in full HD and delivered via a secure video-streaming and download service. The videos can be easily updated and customised according to companies' brands and requirements.
