Shack Nd Pack To Emcee Patuxent Montessori School Fundraiser April 13

BOWIE, Md. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Bowie, Md. – The Patuxent Montessori School will stage its 21st Annual Spring Celebration at the Woodmore Country Club in Mitchellville, Md. on Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m.  The event is the school’s most successful fundraising activity and will feature WPGC-FM Radio Personality Shack ND Pack as master of ceremonies.

The benefit will feature both silent and live auctions with round-trip airline tickets courtesy of Southwest Airlines; a time-share vacation in Myrtle Beach; a handmade, three-table set with tiles hand-painted by the Elementary Class students; and a handmade quilt featuring hand prints from the entire student body being among the most sought-after items.  Musical entertainment will be provided by Johnnie Steele.

Shack ND Pack returns as emcee for a second consecutive year after assisting the school in achieving one of its highest total dollar amounts during the 2012 live auction.  Previous emcees have included WUSA’s Howard Bernstein, former NBC4 anchor Keith Garvin and ABC News reporter John Schriffen.

The fundraiser also includes a raffle drawing for cash prizes of $2,500, $1,000 and $500 (raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win).  Admission tickets are $50 each either in advance or at the door.  All tickets can be purchased by calling the school at (301) 464-4506 or on the school’s website at http://www.patuxent-montessori.org.

The Patuxent Montessori School is a private, not-for-profit, AMI-certified Montessori school located on a six-acre wooded campus in Bowie, Md.
