Co-author of ‘The Greatest Country’, 11-Year-Old Abe Benkhaled at Ice Cream Social in Cumming

Is America The Greatest Country? “Absolutely!” says Georgia’s own - 11-Year-Old Abe Benkhaled – The Co-author of “The Greatest Country”. On Saturday, April 13, 2013 between 1 and 3 p.m., Abe Benkhaled - a sixth grade student at Piney Grove Middle School, will be signing the copies of his book at Social Ice Cream located at 5910 Bethelview Rd, Cumming, GA 30040

Abe wrote the book with his dad.  “The Greatest Country” is an inspirational children’s book that tells why America is the greatest country in the world.  It highlights America, its values, its people and its history. The Books discusses diversity, free enterprise system, rights and liberty, military, and so many other things that separate America from other nations and help it become the greatest country.  

The book has earned a national following with Abe and his father being featured on FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, and many other regional and local TV and radio stations all over the United States.  

Abe’s parents came to the United States from Ethiopia and Pakistan to pursue their American Dreams.  Visiting other countries in Africa, Asia and Europe, and learning about U.S. History, U.S. military, and all the contributions we have made towards the well-being of the people all over the world, made Abe realize that America is the greatest the country.

This is the first of several children’s books that Abe and his father are writing.  “This book has inspired so many children who want to write their own books”, say Abe, “and I have seen tears in people’s eyes when the read this book. That makes me feel very humble and grateful”.

About two weeks ago, the book became a best seller on Amazon.com, and Abe has earned a national following. Parents and grandparents are ordering the book and spending time with their children and grandchildren in rediscovering America through the eyes of an 11 year old American kid, and helping American children appreciate their country and everything they have been blessed with..

Abe is a Boy Scout.  He plays the trombone in his school’s band. When not doing his home work, working on his future books, giving speeches or interviews, he likes to play video games, watch movies and television, listen to music and hang out with his friends and his cousins.
