2014 Honda Odyssey Revealed at New York Auto Show

The new Odyssey has undergone an exterior facelift and added a host of competitive new convenience, technology, and safety features.

Along with a number of other standard and optional features, the 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite trim will be the first and only in-car vacuum to be offered in the minivan segment. Labeled the HondaVAC, this new feature will allow owners to keep their automobile clean without having to haul around an external vacuum or stop at the carwash and pay for a cleaning.

In addition to the new vacuum, the new Odyssey Touring Elite offers a host of other new entertainment and convenience features, including HD Radio, a 7-inch audio touch screen, and a programmable remote entry system with Smart Entry and Push Button Start. This refreshed new model will also feature the patented HondaLink system, and a new cloud-based service that gives drivers and passengers instant access to programs like Pandora radio and SMS text messaging through the safe hands-free Bluetooth wireless service.

On the outside, the new Odyssey Touring Elite sports a new grille and hood that create a fully integrated impression to the design. New headlights, new taillights with LED light bars, new fog lights, and a new wheel design add to the sophisticated impression of the 2014 model.  

The all-new Touring Elite also comes with a number of valuable safety features with new side mirrors featuring an Expanded View Driver’s Mirror along with a Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system and a Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system.

In addition to the Touring Elite trim, the new Honda Odyssey will be available in LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring trims. All models come with a standard 3.5L V6 engine that’s good for 248 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque and up to 27 mpg on the highway.
