TechBiz Connection Forum to Address Mobile Computing and Productivity Tools for Business

By: TechBiz Connection

IRVINE, Calif. - April 9, 2013 - PRLog -- TechBiz Connection will sponsor an entertaining and informative panel discussion with a panel of mobile industry experts who will address the so-called “Fifth Wave” of computing on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the law offices of Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear in Irvine.

According to Jack Bicer, TechBiz Connection president, the Fifth Wave of computing has already arrived, with smartphones and tablets displacing the Internet connected PC as our primary means of interaction. “In the midst of this mobile wave, it’s imperative that businesses understand what essential mobile tools are needed to minimize waste, drive productivity, and simplify our lives,” Bicer noted. “Our forum attendees will learn what they can do to drive efficiencies into their business with mobile solutions and which mobile solutions and products mobile industry leaders prefer.”

The panel moderator is Joe Morris, an independent telecommunications and media consultant for SEICO, who is focused on digital distribution across platforms, digital storefront optimization, and alternative digital commerce models. As the former vice president and general manager for Konami Digital Entertainment’s mobile and social business unit, he led them into the top ten of mobile game publishers by devising and executing the Americas content and distribution strategy through multiple partnerships across all mobile operators, major smartphone and tablet OEMs, and app storefronts. Previously, Mr. Morris was involved in the startup of the Verizon Wireless data organization where he created and led the data sales and marketing organization for the West Area. He has an MBA from the University of Southern California and is a Marine Corps Reserve Colonel.
