Recently The H-1b visa cap has been started on April 1 2013 and ended on April 5th 2013, within 5 days the USCIS get more than 85,000 visas, so that the USCIS choosing the lottery system. Previously on 2008 April the h1b visas are crossed the quota 85,000 visas, then now crossed the visa quota. During this lottery system, the computer automatically selects the petitioners as a randomly. Lakhs of the online applications are received within these 5 days, so still not announced the exact date to select this random process.
The H1b visa cap time period is 73 days during 2012-13, 235 days during 2011-12 and 300 days duration of 2010-11 year and 264 days in 2009-10 year and 2008-9 visa cap reached within one day.
