On the other hand, some landlords are not able to tell, sometimes they are more focused on filling the vacuum in their rental income rather than trying to protect it. A credit check alone which is what a lot of Letting Agencies offer, will not and cannot provide an airtight reference for your tenant. A comprehensive report should contain: 6 year credit history CCJs & bankruptcy. Defaults, arrears & repossessions. Linked address search Income verification Employer's reference (where applicable) Previous Landlord's reference (where applicable) Bank account validation Affordability calculation We carry out our tenant referencing with utmost perspicacity, we promise not to miss a trick. We work our hardest to ensure that you get the right tenant for your property. You can review your checks again, after 6 months; this is not mandatory but it is advisable.
