The Hairy Arsed Builder's Guide To Stress Management - a DIY Guide with a difference!

Dave Lee is a builder who has experienced every sort of stress imaginable, and in this simple guide he passes on simple, effective remedies in the plain, understandable language of his peers..

EASTBOURNE, U.K. - April 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Stress is a dreadful problem in modern society, causing all sorts of issues from alcoholism to violence, and bringing misery to so many people from all walks of life.   There are many books on how to deal with it, mostly written by eminent psychologists in elegant prose that work superbly on the highly educated - and often those least affected by everyday stress.
Dave Lee tried countless solutions for his problems over the years, he worked his way through many books and courses in a bid to relieve himself of stress, bouts of depression and heavy drinking.  He spent years working out what he was told in these teachings and translating this information into words he could understand, and with which he felt comfortable.
He noticed that many of the people with whom he worked suffered from the same problems and issues as he did, and had no solutions for them.  He wanted to help them, and did so for many years by talking to the people working on building sites around Britain.
Wanting to reach a wider audience, he decided he needed to write a book.  However, he immediately ran into a problem that he recognised instantly - his target audience don't necessarily read books;  But they do read guides and manuals...
So The Hairy Arsed Builder's Guide To Stress Management was born, and Dave Lee became the Hairy Arsed Builder.
He took his guide onto the streets and found out something interesting:
It is not just builders who appreciate and rave about his book...
School children found it a book they could read, understand and apply, as did housewives, workers and ordinary people everywhere.  They take to his simple, straight forward lessons and suggestions, applying them and instantly benefiting.
Now the Guide is available to buy as a book - small enough to fit in the back pocket, short enough for those men who tend not to read to the finish!
An essential tool for builders worldwide, to keep in their toolbox or glovebox.
Dave uses builder's language throughout, which makes it easy to grasp the concepts within. The book is divided into chapters, each of which describes a  tool: Planning, Foundations, Drainage, Hard Graft, Driving, Bills, Bills and more Bills, Work in Progress, Tea Break and Decorating.  Each provides an essential tool, and comes with a little story that illustrates the concept graphically.
This is a book for ordinary people and essential reading for anyone who gets stressed.
It comes highly recommended and endorsed by the Anderson Group, one of Britain's leading building companies.

Dave Lee lives in Seaford, East Sussex, and works as a builder all over the country.  He is married to Linzi and has two children, and recently won the 2013 Guardian Constructive Carers Award, for services to charitable causes and advancing philanthropic endeavours of others.

Reviews:

In a nutshell: THIS BOOK MAKES SO MUCH SENSE, builder or not, hairy arse or not, Dave Lee has written the book from the perspective, and in the language and style of a hairy arsed builder: simple, to the point, yet effective using various strategies - or as Lee refers to them - tools to get the job done. Dave Lee's tools in this book are not rocket science. Everyone can use them, and everyone will claim to think that they know them and use them already. But the truth is: if we all were using them, then how come the world is as it is? Thanks Dave for having the courage to write this book. It is already having a positive impact on the life I lead, and I am sure it will on many others' in the future too.
