Faith Community Church Prepares To Act for Christ

PALM DESERT, Calif. - April 8, 2013 - PRLog -- On Sunday April 14, 2013, Pastor Paul & Mary Berst Senior Pastors of Faith Community Church of Thousand Palms, CA. will officially launch their new adult drama ministry called (AFC) Actors for Christ. The main objective of AFC is community outreach. AFC will use Live Christian based Stage Plays, Musicals & Dance productions as another vehicle to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Desert communities. AFC is comprised of a group of spirited volunteer actors with hearts for soul wining and reaching their communities with the message of love, grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

AFC plans to premier their first production & live stage play “The Unexpected” at Faith Community Church in 2014. Future tour dates within the Coachella Valley will follow.

 “The Unexpected” is written and directed by Gina Carey, is an emotionally moving drama about a 17 year old teenage girl named “Samantha Burkmore”, and her traumatic journey into adulthood. Samantha, the only child of the wealthiest couple in Burkmore, California, will soon find themselves dealing with “ THE UNEXPECTED” event that will change the course of their lives forever. Throughout this intensely powerful sentimental drama, you’ll find yourself on the edge of your seats as you witness the tragedies and victories of the Burkmore family. AFC will continue casting for volunteer actors and outreach partners throughout the year.
