All materials—posters, postcards, tickets, and website—share imagery and typography reflective of the event’s themes: an illustration of a lone guitarist in a cowboy hat to represent the country musician headliners, and iconography reflecting the diversity performances that give Mosaic its name.
“It was great to have a lot of creative freedom to illustrate what Mosaic was all about,” said Andy Doerr, senior graphic designer for MessageMakers. “And as a country music lover, I could put myself in the audience’s boots, provide some of that flavor they would expect, and hopefully encourage them to come out.”
2012’s Michigan Mosaic Music Festival had the highest attendance yet recorded.
