Snell & Wilmer Attorney Eric Kintner Joins Denver Office to Enhance Healthcare Group

Snell & Wilmer’s Healthcare practice includes over 20 full-time attorneys. The group regularly represents healthcare providers, national healthcare organizations, physician professional organizations, research organizations, long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, hospices, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, imaging centers, sleep clinics, and many individual providers and groups.  The firm has broad experience providing advice and representation to healthcare organizations in a broad array of regulatory and compliance matters related to federal and state fraud and abuse laws and regulations, reimbursement, credentialing and employment of providers, joint ventures and physician-entity integration, best practices in compensation and contracting, value-based purchasing, and contracting with providers.

Eric concentrates his practice in representing various healthcare organizations, including hospital systems, physicians, ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care facilities, home health agencies, commercial insurers, and durable medical equipment and telemedicine companies. His experience includes executing and managing complex healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, co-management arrangements and physician buy-sell transactions,

Eric regularly advises clients and is a frequent public speaker on issues involving hospital-physician alignment, reimbursement in the Medicare and Medicaid programs, HIPAA and HITECH compliance, fraud and abuse compliance (including Stark and Anti-Kickback), healthcare IT and electronic health record contracts, provider and facility licensure, best practices in corporate governance and the impact of healthcare reform on hospitals and physicians, among others.  

Eric received his juris doctorate with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.A. with distinction and honors from the University of Iowa in English. He is admitted to practice in Arizona.  Eric is not currently licensed to practice law in Colorado.
