Cystinosis Research Network to Appear on The Balancing Act® on Lifetime TV

The Cystinosis Research Network will be making their appearance on an upcoming segment for the series “Behind the Mystery: Rare and Genetic Diseases.”

(Pompano Beach, FL – PR LOG – April 5, 2013) The popular morning show The Balancing Act® is pleased to welcome the Cystinosis Research Network to the show.  The Cystinosis Research Network will be making their appearance on an upcoming segment for the series “Behind the Mystery: Rare and Genetic Diseases.” The show will air in April 2013.

The Cystinosis Research Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advocating research, providing family assistance and educating the public and medical communities about Cystinosis, a rare genetic metabolic disease that causes the amino acid cystine to accumulate in various organs of the body.

Dr. Craig Langman, Head, Kidney Diseases at the Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago will be on set to discuss this rare and genetic disease.
