Ricky Sinclair, bishop of Miracle Place Church in Baker, LA., comes in agreement with Pattie Mallette, Justin Bieber’s mom. "I pray for him," she tells us, "I encourage him. I can't really speak to how he handles that part of his life." (http://www.metrosense.org/?p=8056). Bishop Ricky Sinclair (http://www.rickysinclair.com)  says, “It’s important for parents to pray for their children, no matter what the circumstances. In fact, it’s the most important thing a parent can do.”

Parents cannot hold their children’s hand all their life. It is the responsibility of the parent to raise the child up in the right way with morals and biblical standards. Proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. This clearly shows what our responsibility is as parents, teachers, and even pastors. The Bible doesn’t say that they won’t make wrong decisions; it only reassures us that they will come back to the foundation that they were raised on.

Mallette has laid a foundation for Justin. Justin said in an interview with Access Hollywood, “I’m a Christian. I definitely let people know. I’m not throwing it in their face and telling them, “You have to find Jesus,‘ but I’m down for Jesus.” He also admitted, “Sometimes it’s hard because I get caught up in what I’m doing, but if I forget, I try to remind myself why I’m here.” Regardless of what is going on in the news, Mallette can be reassured that her son, Justin Bieber, does have Christ in his heart and a foundation to stand on. "I'm aware of the dangers," Mallette says. "He's my son and I'm accountable by God and by the law to protect him, which includes covering him spiritually. Justin's faith is strong but he's young and hasn't come completely into himself yet. So what I can do is pray, teach and continue surrounding him with strong Christian influences." James 5:16b says, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Bishop Ricky says, “Let us not judge Justin for his actions, and instead let us lift him up in prayer. Miracle Place Church will stand in agreement with Mallette for her son, Justin Bieber.” Sinclair encourages all parents to hold onto their faith and know that God is in control. When the storms of life are all around know that your prayers are heard and that God holds our children in His hand.
