Long-time Boston Sports Radio Host Mike Adams to be “Roasted” at Celebrity Roast May 16

Long-time television personality and current WEEI Sports Radio host Mike “Mikey” Adams will take the hot seat as this year’s “Roastee.” The Roast will take place at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, MA on the evening of May 16.

“Roasters” will include former Boston Red Sox pitcher Bill “The Spaceman” Lee, Radio Veteran Glen Ordway and Actor John Fiore, known for his role in the Sopranos and Law and Order. They will join many other celebrities to roast Adams, honoring his long career in broadcasting.

Master of ceremonies for the event will be veteran TV reporter/anchor Eileen Curran.

Mike Adams was born in Pittsburgh, PA. and was raised in Manchester, CT.  After Mike's high school days at prestigious Avon Old Farms, he attended The Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and broke into radio before the age of 19.  Mike now hosts the Planet Mikey Show on WEEI in Boston and resides in the Metrowest area.
