Stephen Meade to judge Project ECHO's 9th Annual Business Plan Competition

Stephen Meade will serve as a judge for Project Echo's 9th Annual Business Plan Competition, hosted by UCLA Anderson School of Management on Sunday April 7, 2013
 
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Project ECHO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to encouraging and engaging high school students in entrepreneurship.  For 9 years, Project ECHO has organized the Business Plan Competition, where students get the chance to be competitive and creative, and learn from some of the best leaders in the industry.  

One such leader is Stephen Meade, a judge on this year's panel.  Mr. Meade brings a lot to the table -- 9 successful tech-based companies and over 20 years of experience in business strategy, management, and relationship building.  He joins Project ECHO's thriving team of entrepreneurs, teachers, and graduate students.

At Project ECHO's preliminary competition, held on Sunday, March 17, 2013, 42 teams from Long Beach Polytechnic High School competed for just 5 spots in the Finals.They will join 15 teams from 12 schools this Sunday.  Students will submit written business plans, and give their best presentations in one of three categories: New On-Campus Business, Existing On-Campus Business, and Off-Campus Business.  

UCLA Anderson School of Management will host Project ECHO's 9th Annual Business Competition.  The game begins at 08:00 on Sunday, April 7, 2013.
